Welcome to the Device I/O wiki!

The goal of this Project is to provide a Java-level API for accessing generic device peripherals on embedded devices.  The Project covers some of the most common peripheral devices found in today's embedded platforms including the following:

  • General Purpose Input/Output (GPIO)
  • Inter-Integrated Circuit Bus (I2C)
  • Universal Asynchronous Reciever/Transmitter (UART)
  • Serial Peripheral Interface
