Note that pre-release versions of the IMPORTANT: The Eclipse JDK8 compiler sometimes revert to JDK6 syntax reverts to 1.6 compliance level even though the IDE claims to be compiling JDK81.8.  If this happens, configure Eclipse to use JDK71.7, then configure it to use JDK81.8.
