Look and Feel

We've updated the site to use the built-in look and feel along with the OpenJDK color schemes and a navigation sidebar. This change should feel familiar for users of Confluence. 

Navigation Sidebar

For those unfamiliar with Confluence, the navigation sidebar can be customized to your liking. If you only want the navigation and none of other elements, simply select "Space Tools" at the bottom and select "Customize Sidebar".

Confluence was upgraded this week to version 5.x. There are many new features in Confluence 5, most of which you won't directly experience, however, the upgrade keeps the Wiki on the latest release train for future upgrades and patches.

The one area you may notice a change are the menus. Upgrading Confluence required us to modify the user interface theme and re-implement many features such as the menus. The same functions are available with the new menu layout, but appear in different drop-downs. Here is a comparison of the old versus new Menus:
